This band was formed way back 2008. Derek Miller and Alexis Krauss composed the Sleigh Bells Band and made a debut album first released on May 2010 entitled Treats. Among the songs in the album is Kids, Rill, and Tell 'Elm, Infinity Guitars, Run the Heart, Crown on the Ground, Ring and Straight A's. The duo did not make it big in the hit charts and billboards but they got their album sold and made the music videos so hip and cool for teenage and young ones. They have artistic way of fashion on clothes and music that made sense for younger individual in the market today. Alexis Krauss is the lead vocalist and Derek Miller on guitars. They have showed live performance of the band on March 2010 at Austin Texas. Right now they are still working on another new album to be released in 2012. They are making a great music and their own way of artistically sharing their music to the new generation. It is expected to be the next band to watch out for. They make their own music and sure do make some swag and jamming on parties. This band is experienced into the music industry and is very much familiar with the scene. Miller is a veteran guitarist, composer and producer from the hardcore Poison Well and teamed up with Krauss who was then the pop singer for Ruby blue. Krauss is also a teacher at Bronx public school. Sleigh Bells sound is often live and loud. The choice of music is far from being the past hardcore Miller has been with. Although it kind of sound loud but not the same as the hardcore thing from the past. People are into more of extreme live music that is still good to the ears and is seen in a live performance. 
Alexis Krauss is doing very well on her craft. Pretty young people look up to their music and likely to dress up and follow the style of clothes and accessories that Krauss wore. She is also an icon that is very fashionable and not afraid of trying out new things and making new designs out of something different. The Sleigh Bells Band is so cool. It is now working on a new album to be released next year 2012. This band is sure to be the next band to watch out for. It is getting more and more fans and supporters following the band. |
